The Hislop Group History.

The Hislop Group is a team of coaches that set a new standard in the profession. Peter Hislop has long advocated that executive coaching as a profession needs to step up to new levels of performance. In response the Hislop Group has assembled a diverse group of successful high performance executives and trained them to deliver coaching with a passion and expertise that differentiates them from the level of coaching currently provided in Australia. The Hislop Group coaches are trained in the technique that Peter has developed from 15 years from empirical evidence combined with carefully selected theory and practice from the world’s best business schools and leadership experts. Each of the Hislop Group coaches bring a relentless intention to bring transformational change to every coaching exchange. They believe in themselves as coaches and therefore display one of the core elements of leadership: the ability to move from a knowledge authority (based on subject matter expertise) to a leadership authority. The Hislop Group’s clients know that this important journey has already been successfully taken by the person coaching them.

The coaches are also natural and challenging facilitators and the carefully crafted workshops we deliver become the tipping point in executive development and the cornerstone of culture change for an organisation.

Backed by a growing digital presence and a group of operational professions, the organisation expects excellence as its operating standard which underpins its passion to bring greatness in leadership both individually and to the culture of organisations.

“The foundation, the impetus, the motivation for doing the right thing has always been and still is, the achievement of a common purpose. Perhaps that is a clue to our future corporate behaviours, perhaps a simple elegant base for our communities.”
